Day 1: Arrival in Cochin and Drive to Munnar

On arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, start your journey to Munnar, a serene hill station famous for its tea plantations. Enjoy the scenic drive with stops at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, perfect for photography and short nature walks. Arrive in Munnar, check into your hotel, and relax amid the cool mountain air.

Day 2: Explore the Scenic Charm of Munnar

Spend a full day exploring Munnar’s natural attractions. Begin with Eravikulam National Park, home to the Nilgiri Tahr. Visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, Echo Point, and Top Station, all offering panoramic views of lush valleys and rolling tea gardens. End your day at a local tea factory, learning the art of tea-making and enjoying fresh samples.

Day 3: Munnar to Alleppey – Houseboat Cruise in Backwaters

Drive to Alleppey, Kerala’s backwater capital. Board a traditional houseboat by afternoon and enjoy a slow cruise along serene canals lined with coconut palms, rice paddies, and rustic villages. Experience local life as you float through the tranquil waters, with opportunities to relax on deck or watch the sunset over the backwaters.

Day 4: Alleppey to Kovalam – Beachside Retreat

Disembark after breakfast and drive to Kovalam, a coastal paradise near Trivandrum. Kovalam is famous for its crescent-shaped beaches, gentle waves, and vibrant seaside atmosphere. Spend your evening relaxing on the sandy shores, taking in the sun, or strolling along the coastline.

Day 5: Trivandrum Sightseeing and Leisure at Kovalam

Explore Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala, visiting landmarks like the Napier Museum, Trivandrum Zoo, and optionally the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Return to Kovalam for a relaxed evening by the beach, enjoying the tropical ambiance and picturesque sunsets.

Day 6: Departure from Trivandrum

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station for onward travel, taking along memories of Kerala’s hills, backwaters, and pristine beaches.
