Day 01 :
Arrival in Guwahati | Transfer to Kaziranga

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and meet your local representative for a transfer to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or homestay and relax for the evening, preparing for the exciting adventures ahead. Enjoy your overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 02 :
Safari Day | Explore Kaziranga National Park

Start your day with an optional early morning Elephant Safari (at your own expense) through Kaziranga National Park. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including the iconic One-horned Rhino. After the safari, return to your hotel for breakfast and some leisure time. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling jeep safari arranged by Thrillophilia through the park. This safari will give you the chance to spot tigers, elephants, and other wildlife species. After the safari, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 :
Kaziranga to Shillong | Travel to the Scotland of the East

After breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic drive to Shillong, often referred to as the "Scotland of the East." Along the way, stop at the serene Umiam Lake, a man-made reservoir surrounded by Sylvan hills. Continue your journey to Shillong and check in at your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the local market or relaxing at your leisure. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 04 :
Shillong to Cherrapunjee | Visit the Wei Sawdong Falls

After breakfast, board your transfer to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on Earth. On your way, stop to admire the stunning Elephant Falls. Upon reaching Cherrapunjee, visit the viewpoint of Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest waterfall in India, and learn the tragic story behind it. Continue to the Seven Sisters Falls, a series of seven beautiful streams. Explore the Mawsmai Caves, known for their unique fossils and limestone formations. Visit the Garden of Caves, surrounded by lush hills and home to beautiful waterfalls and ponds. After sightseeing, check in to your hotel in Cherrapunjee for an overnight stay.
Note: It’s recommended to spend a maximum of 40-45 minutes at each location to cover all the attractions.

Day 05 :
Cherrapunjee to Shillong via Dawki | Explore Mawlynnong

After breakfast, check out and travel to Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village. Explore the village and visit the Balancing Rock, a natural wonder that has withstood storms for years. Next, visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai village before continuing your journey to Dawki. Here, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River (at your own expense). After your boat ride, head back to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 06 :
Shillong Sightseeing | Transfer to Guwahati

After breakfast, explore Shillong, starting with a visit to the Don Bosco Museum, which showcases the rich culture and traditions of the indigenous tribes of Northeast India. Then, visit the Cathedral Church, renowned for its beautiful stained-glass windows and tall arches. Explore Wards Lake, a picturesque, horseshoe-shaped lake surrounded by gardens. After the sightseeing tour, travel to Guwahati and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 07 :
Departure | Visit Kamakhya Temple

On your final day, have breakfast at the hotel and pack your bags. If time permits, visit the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India, dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. After the temple visit, you'll be dropped off at the Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, marking the end of your unforgettable Meghalaya and Kaziranga trip.
