The trek offers a journey through dense deodar and pine forests, gradually ascending toward high-altitude campsites. You will walk through expansive alpine meadows, dotted with wildflowers, while soaking in breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. The trek culminates at Chandrakhani Pass (approx. 12,000–12,500 ft), offering 360-degree panoramic views of majestic Himalayan peaks including Deo Tibba, Indrasan, and the vast Parvati Valley ranges.

Your adventure begins at Rumsu Village near Naggar. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the trekking team. The day is dedicated to acclimatization, document verification, and a short orientation session. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk through the village to explore traditional Himachali homes, ancient temples, and lush apple orchards. After a wholesome dinner, relax and unwind with an overnight stay in a cozy homestay at Rumsu.
After an early breakfast, begin your trek through dense deodar and pine forests, gradually ascending toward Ghankulhadi. The well-defined trail provides stunning views of the Kullu Valley and allows for steady altitude gain. Ghankulhadi is a peaceful campsite surrounded by open meadows and forest clearings—perfect for relaxing, enjoying the silence of the mountains, and stargazing at night. Overnight stay in tents at Ghankulhadi.
Today’s trek takes you higher beyond the tree line toward Chaklani, a high-altitude campsite nestled close to Chandrakhani Pass. Walk through expansive alpine meadows, dotted with wildflowers, while soaking in breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. Chaklani offers wide-open views and exceptionally clear night skies, making it an ideal location for stargazing and astrophotography. Overnight stay in tents at Chaklani Camp.
Start early to ascend to Chandrakhani Pass (approx. 12,000–12,500 ft). The climb is steep but incredibly scenic, offering 360-degree panoramic views of majestic Himalayan peaks including Deo Tibba, Indrasan, and the Parvati Valley ranges. After spending time at the pass, begin your descent toward Naya Tapru, a serene campsite nestled amidst alpine slopes and forest patches. The downhill trek provides a completely different perspective of the surrounding valleys. Overnight stay in tents at Naya Tapru.
On the final day, descend back to Rumsu Village, retracing scenic forest trails. Upon arrival at the base camp, freshen up and receive your trek completion certificates. The trek officially concludes by 4:00 PM, followed by a drop to Patlikuhal, marking the end of your adventure.
