Day 1: Arrival at Bhubaneswar – Konark Sun Temple – Chandrabhaga – Reach Puri

Arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station and drive towards the coastal town of Puri, beginning your journey with a visit to the Sun Temple at Konark, a 13th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its chariot-shaped architecture and intricate stone carvings. Continue to Chandrabhaga Beach, a serene stretch of golden sand lined with casuarina trees, ideal for a peaceful seaside break. Visit the nearby Ramachandi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ramachandi on the banks of the Kusabhadra River, and then proceed to Puri to check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Puri – Chilika Lake Excursion – Puri

After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon spread over more than 1,100 square kilometers and known as a paradise for migratory birds. Visit Satapara to enjoy a boat ride, where you may spot playful Irrawaddy Dolphins and explore the Sea Mouth, Virgin Island, and Birds Island, each offering scenic views and great photo opportunities. Return to Puri and visit the revered Jagannath Temple, one of India’s Char Dham pilgrimage sites, before spending a relaxing evening at Golden Beach and exploring the local markets. Day 3: Puri – Pipili & Dhauli – Bhubaneswar Sightseeing

Check out from your hotel in Puri and drive towards Bhubaneswar, stopping en route at Pipili Village, famous for its colorful applique handicrafts used in canopies, wall hangings, and traditional decor. Continue to Dhauli, the historic site where Emperor Ashoka embraced peace after the Kalinga War, and visit the Shanti Stupa or Peace Pagoda. In Bhubaneswar, explore Lingaraj Temple, an 11th-century masterpiece dedicated to Lord Harihara, followed by Mukteswar Temple, often called the “Gem of Odisha architecture,” and then visit the ancient Khandagiri and Udayagiri Caves carved during the Kalinga dynasty. Check in to your hotel in Bhubaneswar for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Departure from Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station as per your schedule. Bid farewell to Odisha, carrying with you beautiful memories of its heritage temples, serene beaches, historic caves, and tranquil lake landscapes.
